Date 12/12/08 - Christmas Order Entry Cut Off Dates
Every year at this time we have a surge of last minute orders to fill. We placed on the home page a table showing the ESTIMATED order entry cut time and date for the shipping service. There are no guarantees. We will be processing orders throught the night as we get closer to December 25th. Order early to make sure you receive your order before Christmas.

Date 12/10/08 - 9mm Books Amazon Seller Account Open for Business
We recently tested our new 9mm Books amazon Seller Account and it works. All of our book listings have been loaded and now Amazon can process your order and it ships from our warehouse in Rohnert Park CA. (2 hours north of San Francisco)

When you see the prices you might wonder why so high... Amazon allocates $13 for international shipping which is fine for a light weight paperback book shipped in a softpack envelop. Forever and Ever is hard bound, requires a heavy duty box and has a shipping weight of 5 lbs. The cheapest reliable way to ship this book to our international customers is via the USPS Flat Rate Box for $37.00. So we modify the price to rebalance and include the real cost of purchase and shipping.

We opened the 9mm Books Amazon Seller Account to support international customers but domestic customers may use it as well. It is prefered that domestic customers use our commercial Catalog & Shopping Cart. You will see some savings and have access to a variety of shipping methods some with tracking.

Date 11/14/08 - International Sales Page Added
Now that the cut over is completed we added a temporary page to deal with our shopping carts inability to handle international addresses and credit cards. On this page you will find a manual order placement method. It has been tested and it does work. Once the dust has settled on the new server we will make one more attempt to bring up a shopping cart that handels international addresses and credit cards. When that occurs we will be able to server both our consumer customers as well as our wholesale customers.

Date 11/13/08 - Cut Over is Complete
Well that is... The bulk of the work is complete. The URL DNS was updated and the the new pages were fluffed and uploaded. We found a few places where we still need to make minor changes to be consistent. Navigation works correctly. Although the important elements are up and facilitating our customer's needs to purchase our art books, there are still some style changes to be made, a few pages and areas need content. So you will see changes occur over the next few weeks.

Date 11/11/08 - Moving to a New Server
Welcome to our new web site. At the moment we are concerned with installing our new web site pages on a new server and cutting over the DNS records so you land on this correct web site and the e-mail works correctly. You will notice that some pages are not complete at this time. In this economy we have had to make changes and cut costs every where we can. One way is to move to a less expensive server environment. We have been building new web site pages that incorporate a few changes BUT the need to move has occured before the pages were finished. The ability to find and buy one of our books in a secure environment is intact. Some of the information pages howerver will be completed over the next few days.
